Our Mission
Raising money and donations in a effort to provide local shelters with the resources to care for animals in need
Most animal shelters, being non-profits, take amazing care of these lonely animals on very limited budgets. They have an abundance of love, but not an abundance of dollars. One of their biggest costs is filling the hungry bellies of these helpless pets. It is our mission to help those shelters feed these needy and hungry furry friends!

OUR HISTORY
Seeing a need to help shelters feed their sadly booming populations of homeless pets, our founder, a university instructor, organized pet food can drives on his campus. Engaging students with big hearts, they have collected over 20,000 cans of pet food for local animal shelters. The students were so proud and the needy dogs and cats were so happy.
Joining with his son, a student at another college, they formed this 501c3 non-profit, Food For Furry Friends, Inc., to reach out and try to help animal shelters all over - after all, there are hungry dogs and cats being cared for in cash-strapped shelters from coast to coast.
Now joined by a number of student volunteers, and energized by their love for animals and the immense burdens on shelters to feed their lonely and ever-hungry animals, the Food For Furry Friends (or 4F) team is reaching out to shelters while also reaching out for more volunteers and for more donations. Please join us in our heart-felt quest to put food in the bellies of these helpless and ever so needy dogs and cats.
